I’m Back and Summer Is Almost Here!
Global Marketing
Hello, everyone. I’m back and writing again after my very busy travel schedule has finally slowed down just a little. Thanks so much to Mathew David Pauley for filling in on my blog duties with his very insightful writing. I loved reading his posts as I traveled from city to city. I’m going to continue Mathew’s emphasis on the mental processes in this next blog series.
As I sit back and get ready to write once more, I’m a bit startled by how fast the year is going by. It seems like just yesterday I was singing Auld Lang Syne with a small group on New Year’s Eve. I blinked, and here we are approaching summer 2016! I’m guessing some people already have their summer vacation plans made and some don’t. Our vacation plans are set, with a celebration of my parents’ 60th anniversary in Hawaii along with a trip to see other family members in Seattle.
For my next series, I thought I would offer ideas you could consider for your summer plans. As with making any decision, remembering how our MBTI® mental processes can help us is always a good place to start. Starting with Sensing and then moving to Intuition (our Perceiving mental processes that help us take in information) and then continuing to Thinking and then Feeling (our Judging mental processes that help us evaluate information) gives us a more balanced approach to decision making. I led a session on this very topic at last year’s MBTI® Users Conference. Stay tuned…
