  • The interactive workshop covers the MBTI Step I and MBTI Step II Global assessments. All the knowledge you need is brought to life in hands-on, practical learning sessions covering the following topics:
    - The origins and background of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment.
    - How to successfully administer the MBTI assessment.
    - How to apply the MBTI framework to a range of individual development situations including coaching and leadership development.

  • Yes. You should allow up to 3 hours to complete pre-work for the public and in-house programs. This includes taking the MBTI Global assessment online.
  • To successfully complete the MBTI Certification Program and attain “MBTI Certified Practitioner” status, you must complete the following requirements:

     - Attend and fully participate in the entirety of each day of the MBTI Certification Program.
     - Achieve a score of 80% or higher on a multiple choice exam.
  • Yes. You can learn more about the CE hours offered on the in-house and self-guided programs here. For up-to-date details on the CE hours offered on the public program, check the Myers & Briggs Foundation site here.
  • Yes! If you’d like to purchase the self-guided certification in bulk for a number of people at your organization, please contact our Customer Support team for more information.
  • You’ll have 90 days from your purchase date to complete the program. This includes passing the MBTI certification exam. There are sample timelines included in the program to help you plan your time if you need it.
  • You can retake the exam after 48 hours. If you don't pass the second time, our support team will get in touch to guide you through your next steps.
  • Yes. The program is compatible with screen readers and keyboard navigable. All video content has both closed captioning and transcripts. All audio content includes accompanying transcripts.
  • Yes. 
    1. An Internet-connected device that can run Zoom video conferencing software. The online learning modules are designed to work on desktop and laptop computers, tablets, and smartphones.
    2. A JavaScript-enabled Internet browser such as Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari (Mac and Apple iOS only).
    3. Adobe Reader to open pdf downloads
  • As the self-guided MBTI Certification Program is immediately accessible upon purchase, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges to other MBTI certification options.
  • You can book these sessions yourself within our learning management system. There are multiple session date and times available for you to book anytime during the program. You’ll receive an email confirmation and reminder for each session booking; you can also download a calendar invite for each session if you’d like to.
  • These sessions focus on key topics related to the MBTI Step I assessment, reinforcing your selfpaced online learning with experiential activities and expert Q&A. 

    The first instructor-led session is a facilitated MBTI Step I group feedback session. During this session, you’ll explore your own personality preferences and verify your best-fit four-letter type. This experience is an essential foundation for the rest of the program.The later instructor-led sessions provide opportunities for you to explore type dynamics and experience group application activities to broaden your understanding of the MBTI framework. 

    These sessions are also an opportunity to ask questions of an MBTI expert to clarify any areas of difficulty. Instructor-led sessions focus on the MBTI Step I assessment to help you gain a complete understanding of Step I before moving on to explore Step II with additional self-guided learning modules.

    The three instructor-led modules are facilitated online sessions run via Zoom. You can choose the session you‘d like to attend for each module from a calendar of available sessions. Each session lasts 2 hours and 45 minutes.

    The exact schedule for instructor-led sessions will vary throughout the year.
  • GS Consultants is an authorized provider of an MBTI Step I Certification Program that is designed exclusively for Career Counselors and Academic Advisors and is only open to those who qualify as a Career Counselor or Academic Advisor. If you qualify for this course and successfully complete it, you will be considered an MBTI Certified Practitioner. GS Consultants’ program is not the same as the one offered by the Myers & Briggs Foundation and The Myers-Briggs Company as it was designed specifically to meet the unique needs of Career Counselors and Academic Advisors.
